Within the past few months, I have found myself working simultaneously between two series. My “Embodiment Series” is an attempt at portraying the animals in their most honest form- fully embodying the symbolism I have assigned them. This series aims to be pure- to simply reflect a whole being. In my “Incorporeal Series”, I am exploring hidden personality traits such as confusion, angst, jealousy and weakness. Here, the animals represent situations as well as their assigned symbolism. Working between the two series has allowed my work to evolve into a complex language of assigned meanings.
